Start-Up Advisory  ·  Founders & Consultants

Turn your idea into
a working business.

For first-time founders and professionals going independent. We help clarify your offer, define the setup you need, and get the business running, so you launch with a credible online presence and a clear way for clients to reach you.

Get in Touch

Starting a business means a hundred small decisions at once.

Whether you have been planning this for years or decided last month, the same wall arrives. What exactly you sell, and to whom. What to charge. What to call yourself. Whether you need a website, and what should go on it.

Then comes the practical side. A business name that is actually available. A domain. An email address that is not your personal one. A way for someone to book you, pay you, and get a confirmation. A bank account, an accountant, insurance if the work calls for it.

None of these are difficult on their own. Together they take weeks, and every one of them sits between you and your first client. Most founders lose a month here, working evenings, learning tools they will never open again.

You do not have to be the person who does that part.

From idea to launch,
in two stages.

Stage one covers what you need to get started, and leaves you with a plan you can implement yourself. Stage two is optional: we set up your online presence and customer workflow, then hand it over. Everyone starts with stage one, and you decide on stage two once you can see exactly what it involves.

Stage One  /  Implementation Blueprint

We turn your idea into a launch plan.

Whether your offer is already well defined or still taking shape, this is where it is decided. We work through the practical decisions in a sensible order, and turn them into a clear plan with costs and a timetable.

You finish this stage knowing exactly what your business needs and in what order it should happen.

Stage One includes two 90-minute working sessions and one 60-minute consolidated clarification round.

This is a complete piece of work in itself. The plan is yours to keep. Many founders take it and do the setup themselves, at their own pace. Stage two is there if you would rather not.

Typically two to three weeks. Priced on enquiry.

Crescent Alliance provides business research and commercial guidance, not legal, accounting, or tax advice.

  • Positioning and messaging. Pinning down who you serve, the core problem you solve, and what sets you apart.
  • Offer and pricing. How your first offer is packaged and priced.
  • Business banking. What to look for, and the account options to compare.
  • Tax and VAT considerations. Current thresholds and deadlines, and the questions to confirm with a qualified accountant.
  • Essential professional support. The accountant, insurance, or advisers worth having in place.
  • Technology choices. The few tools that fit, and the many to ignore.
  • Launch priorities. What must happen first, and what can wait.
  • Reaching your first customers. A plain plan for how people find you, understand what you offer, and get in touch.
  • An approved specification. The responsibilities, costs, and timetable for stage two.

Stage Two  /  Build & Handover

We build it, test it, and hand it over.

Working to the plan you approved, we build and test everything on the list. You review it once, we make the agreed changes, and then it becomes yours, with a guide and a closing session so you can run it confidently.

What you receive is deliberately simple. Simple is faster to launch and far easier to run once we step away.

Typically four to six weeks. Priced on enquiry.

Timelines depend on how quickly decisions, content and approvals come back. Third-party subscriptions, professional fees, and any work outside the agreed specification are charged separately.

  • One editable, template-based website
  • One domain and business email connection
  • One booking or registration workflow
  • One payment provider connected to your own account
  • Two business profiles of your choosing (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, or Google)
  • End-to-end testing before anything goes live
  • One consolidated revision round
  • A closing and handover session
  • A written maintenance guide
  • Thirty days of error correction after launch

The decisions are the same ones we have made for years.

Stage One is positioning, pricing, market definition and the order in which a launch should happen. That is close to two decades of work in global FMCG marketing: sizing markets, setting prices, defining who a product is for, and designing the processes that turn a plan into something a business can run.

MoneyGist UK, our education brand, is where that experience was applied from a blank page. Positioning, offer, marketing channels, online presence and payment infrastructure. Every decision Stage One walks you through is one we made there ourselves.

What took the time was the groundwork, researching every option from scratch. You will skip all that and start from our conclusions.

What you need to start.
And no more.

The scope is deliberately focused. A simple first version launches faster and is far easier to run. Additional ideas are captured in an after-launch backlog and quoted separately, so your launch is never held up by everything you might do later.

You own it, and you run it.

Every account and digital asset is registered in your name and paid on your card. The domain, the hosting, the email, the booking link. You own all of it from day one.

At handover, you or a nominated administrator take responsibility for the platforms. We provide a written maintenance guide and a closing session so the transition is clean.

This service does not include ongoing maintenance. All completed deliverables will be handed over to you or your nominated administrator for future ongoing maintenance. Support after handover only covers errors or problems with what was built, not new pages or new features. Any further work will be quoted and agreed separately.

Built for a specific kind of launch.

This is for you if

  • You are serious about starting, whether the idea is fully formed or still taking shape.
  • You want clear positioning and a practical plan, whether you do the setup yourself or hand the build to us.
  • You can make and approve decisions promptly.
  • You want a focused launch rather than an over-engineered build.
  • You accept that the first version will not include every future idea.

It is not the right fit if

  • You want an ongoing virtual assistant or business manager.
  • You are looking for a business partner or co-founder.
  • You require complex, bespoke software development.
  • You expect unlimited, open-ended technical maintenance after launch.

Let's get you started.

Tell us what you are building and how far along you are. If it is not a fit, we will say so. We take on a small number of these launches at a time.
